French 201 - Intermediate French I
​

This is the third course in the basic language sequence at the University of Arizona. It uses the textbook Français Monde and the platform MyFrenchLab. Sample activities include instructor guidelines and student comments from an interactive virtual presentation using VoiceThread to present environmentally friendly actions.

This is a discussion section associated with the FL Methods course at the University of Arizona and designed for new graduate teaching assistants. It consists of weekly face-to-face sessions and online interactions involving discussion of scholarly articles and guided activities linking research and praxis.

This is the first course in the basic language sequence at the University of Oklahoma. It uses the textbook, Promenades, and the Vista Higher Learning Supersite for web-mediated language practice. This is the FL Methods course at the University of Oklahoma, required for advanced undergraduate students in the World Language Education track, and Graduate Teaching Assistants teaching in the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics.

This course is designed for graduate students currently teaching in a collegiate language program or preparing to teach French at the secondary level. This course focuses on designing instructional materials to integrate culture and technology in FL teaching.

French 202 - Intermediate French II
​

This is the fourth and final course in the basic language sequence at the University of Arizona. It consists of a collaboratively designed global simulation story-framework carried out through a multiliteracies, genre-based curriculum. Students took on the roles of characters living in a contemporary apartment building in the 17ieme arrondissement in Paris.

Grammar, Usage, and Composition
​

This course is designed for students in third-year French. It departs from the principle that grammar and vocabulary are learned and used in meaningful contexts, and aims to develop students' abilities to participate in discourses of contemporary French and Francophone societies through oral and written genres. It introduces students to cultural discourses through a combination of short films, literary excerpts, and popular media. It uses the textbook, Face-à-Face, and the Vista Higher Learning Supersite for web-mediated language practice.
