"Kristen was certifiably beyond effective in her capacity as the instructor of our Breakout session. She had a thorough and comprehensive understanding of all of the texts we read and was able to explain any and all opaque areas that we encountered, either individually or as a group. Her feedback was sincere, clear, and constructive, and her demeanor made me feel like I was in class with a good friend. The articles she chose to complement the main course were also incredibly helpful. She always had a firm grasp of what we were discussing in the main section and was able to supplement that with material that made clear and expanded upon those readings. I am beyond grateful that I had Kristen as my Breakout leader, and I believe that I am better for it."
"Kristen is an outstanding facilitator. She is the instructor with the most tact and patience that I have ever met. She is incredibly understanding and never made us feel incompetent. Also, she never just gave us the answer but asked us questions to guide us to the answers. Kristen made excellent use of session time because she took the time to address our concerns. Feedback was excellent both in person and written, encouraging us to think out of the box. However, articles were difficult to tackle and I think we needed more guidance when reading. Maybe having reading questions would help."
